In a remarkable community initiative, B Narayanpur Government High School teamed up with BBMP Mahadevpura zone’s Krishnarajpur Nagar Primary Health Center to spearhead a public health awareness campaign targeting mosquito-borne diseases, including dengue, chikungunya, and malaria.

Approximately 60 enthusiastic high school students played a pivotal role in this campaign, engaging directly with the community by distributing informational pamphlets and health materials. Their efforts reached an impressive 1,200 households, spreading crucial knowledge on the prevention and eradication of these infectious diseases.

The campaign was meticulously supervised by health inspectors and several ASHA workers, ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of the information disseminated. This collaborative endeavor underscores the significant impact that informed and motivated students can have on public health awareness and disease prevention.

The initiative not only educated the public but also empowered the students, fostering a sense of responsibility and community spirit. By participating in this campaign, the students contributed to a broader effort to enhance public health and combat the spread of infectious diseases in their locality.
